Sichuan Opera is one of the old local opera companies and is highly influential in China. The Sichuan Opera House of Chengdu has numerous actors who have won National and International Opera Awards. “Desire under the elms” is adapted from the play by Eugene Gladstone O'Neill, the father of America drama in 1925. Performed in the form of Sichuan Opera and accompanied by Chinese traditional live orchestra. The whole play is about two hours in long. This will be the Chinese Sichuan Opera first time performing in the United States.
